Hey Guy's.
I spent the best part of a year down at James Lovells exchange shop and if anyone has any questions about it feel free to post them.
I would personally say that you still have a decent advantage by being in an exchange shop. SIS isn't very good but turf tv tracks are still profitable.
The boy's who do it full time are still very succesful down there and are very helpful. Most of the lads down there still just take advantage of getting value prices on horses who "steal a length" on the field or as James say's horses that make a race winning move. I think it's got a lot harder from what the boy's have said down there but don't write it off. It's still profitable enough for the main room to be full most of the time at £40 a day.
If you like your racing or like playing xbox etc (Fast reactions) then give it go and the boy's are great down there, otherwise just work on making your pre-race trading as profitable as possible
Cheers,
Gareth.
