lol, I don't usually watch the races, just get on with trading the next one, but that really excited me to watch. Great stuff, I was tempted to lay Kuato when he hit the first fence hard, but didn't ... DOH!.

Thank you jolly green. I have backed 2 horses in 4 days. I had a tip on the day I backed a horse at 3/1 £100 and the horse won easily. I decided to gamble £200 on the gold cup. I saw your advert about Imperial and I have backed to horse at 10/1. I t was hard not to green up. I put my hands under my legs for stopping me to close my position b4 the end of the race. Thank you very much. 2morrow is my bithday I will spend all £1800.

I'm going for Imperial Commander to win over Denman, with Mon Mome in 3rd - I reckon Kouta will choke it and tumble.

Wow, well done enzabella2009, enjoy your birthday!

Good call JollyGreen! I must admit I'm not a big fan on the racing but that was great to watch. The build up and everything was great.

hhhmm maybe I could get into this?

Many thanx to all,

Who have contributed to the thread and for the Cheltenham previews and pointers. Thanks Jolly G for taking the time to write up such informative previews.

I've not had much chance to take advantage of trading the quality racing as I kept getting interuptions and nuisance calls in the form of the boss asking me to do some work ;) Some People!!

Made a bit of hay laying the shortish favs at the begining of the week; but the Imperial Commander bet today made my week 20notes E/W at 9.0s.
(Not a lot by some peoples standards but nowadays I'm loathe to put a straight bet on that I can't green up "funny that eh") But it'll go towards the subs in April.

Anyway here's to the light nights, smokey barbies, cool beer and the flat; many thanks to the good folks who take the considered time and effort to make the forum what it is.

Cheers

Hi to all

No problem with the information, I am pleased that lots of people enjoyed it and very happy that some people made £££s from it.

I had a mis spent youth, my Granddad had me picking out horses from a very young age :o I never really appreciated how long I had been following horses and just how much study goes into trying to find an edge.

There are always highs and lows - I scratched Buena Vista from my list of selections and when speaking to a good friend he mentioned that horse too. I nearly put it back in but decided not to....we all know it won at a big price!!

I am thinking of doing some more previews on races with a view to the form etc having an impact on prices so that people perhaps can find drifters or steamers on the basis horses will supported or won't win...what you do you reckon?

Thanks to all who took the trouble to read the previews, contribute to them etc. A big thank you to all who took the time to say thanks!

Cheers
