We had one person upgrade to the latest beta version and that seemed to solve the problem. You may want to try that?

We've been working with a user this afternoon to isolate the issue and it all seems to point to one specific API call that is failing. When he upgraded to the latest version of the product the issue was no longer there. So if others can confirm that, it would be great.

I'm running 1.23.2, so I'll upgrade and see what happens. I'm only encountering the problem occassionally, but I'll let you know if it happens again after the upgrade.

Excuse me all,
are we talking about the "rules" tab, "Bet Angel dinamic connection tuner" which can be set from 0 to 100?

if so, mine was set to 58, I've now set it to 1 and tomorrow I'll see if anything changes...

Thanks

Please don't set it to 1 as that will almost certainly cause problems. If you set it high then the chance of a call timing out is much less likely. If you set it very low that will probably create issues.

I don't really understand about how all the different connection modes work

Are you suggesting my setting of 7 is too low?

For clarity, don't get connection modes and the connection tuner mixed up.

On the connection mode tuner, 7 should be fine. If you experiance problems try making it a larger number and see if that has an effect.

I have mine set on 3 but I am on the VPS so it's a much faster connection, my responsiveness is 0 milliseconds so I feel comfortable at much lower settings.

We did further tests yesterday and isolated one specific API call as the problem. This is likely to affect all versions of BA. Now we just need to work out why it affects some people and not others. Further tests will be done today. Thanks to those who have stepped forward to help us isolate the problem.

Just a short note to alert those who had this problem that we have managed to track down the API call that was causing the error and have written in extended protection in a new version of the software. This new beta version is available to download now. Version 1.23.7.

Hi B.A., I encountered something similar today using the Server Edition (Kempton 18:30 race). Is there a new version of the Server Edition available where this issue has been patched?

Yes, this issue has been resolved. Please drop a note to support with your current version number so we can determine if you have the right edition installed.

According to the Download page, I indeed already have the latest version (v1.23.3). Will go ahead and send a message to Support with the full details of the problem I encountered. Thanks.
