Spotting them is great Peter - the big question is whether they will listen, or even implement the modifications required?

Hi
This isnt a pop at the original poster but the main reason is that a lot of people dont search before they post.

When you have been asked the same question a hundred times you run out of steam! People come and go on the forum, there has been hundreds over the years and from what I can see, not a lot of original members remain. The same questions are repeated.

There is virtually not a week goes by where someone doesnt post along the lines of.."Help needed to set up an automated system in guardian to .."

Betangel is so well documented these days in the user guide and BetangelTV there is no excuse really. We even have practice mode to run test systems on.
Trading a tough gig these days and I think the reason only 1% make it, is because of the amount of effort that is needed. That effort is started by putting the spade work in initially

Regards
Peter
It is because most of the senior people on this forum are very unhelpful/arrogant/would rather take the tiss than help anyone (le tiss) is a classic example...
whilst bet angel is a brilliant tool, the forum is pants...
Well I for one posted and got a reply instantly and Dallas has just made me nearly 1 hundred dollars in under an hour.

I think if you post with a clear concise question in the title Than they can help.

I'm not sure what others that havn't been helped are posting, but if your clear about what you want. They will help.

I think it has to be noted that they also are looking at their own trades aswell, If you ask me there legends.

These are exactly the type of forum users us so called "senior people" are more than happy to help, if people ask for advice as long as there willing to put the work in they will get plenty of help and guidance from someone.

Hi
Peter Le, this isnt a pop at you, its more of a i have to agree with you up to a certain point but experianced traders like myself has experianced this kind of thing on the forum. Am sure BA team are familiar with my name and yourself and the others, again i am not having a dig. Am a person that when a new release of software is released i dont touch it, i carry on with what is working (ie the version before), last week i thought let me upgrade to BA version 1.42. Great stuff, liked the embeded more stylish look (well done BA) as this software for trading is far by best top of the range IMHO. When i started to use it it was fireing double bets into the market, order of say £300 became £600 on the ladder (quite dangerous) especially if you had no intention of putting that much on. Anyway to cut a long story short i shut down for the day and thought i would ask some of experianced traders and infact make them aware of the problem if they were experianceing it and what could it be, All what happened was views no answers. I am one that does know where to look, but it was like no one wanted to assist, i wish to not steal anyones strategys or anything, its taken me nearly 6 years to become consistantly profitable and diciplened, all i wanted was a bit of info if anyone else was getting the problem so i could of assesed if it was PC Windows 10 which i upgraded two weeks prior. Newbies please search, we all had to do it to get where we are, but pro,s assist another pro with equipment failure, this isnt a clique forum i hope, i havnt reached PC charge yet but i will throw a party when i do. :-)

Alpha, I took the lack of response was that nobody was seeing any issues so there were probably none present.

Before we release a new version we use it internally for a month or two and then release it as a beta before moving it on to a formal release. We would pick up on stuff like this very quickly as we are actually using it ourselves.

The key to reporting a problem is to show others how to replicate it, because then it becomes clear there is an issue present. Without that, people are poking around in the dark a bit. So you will probably get no response.

I often wont post to threads unless there is a discussion or reason to get involved. I don't want to accidentally influence discussion or be seen to be moderating comments by proxy. Also I can't read every thread. But I take on board your comments.

Hi Alpha,
Yes I did see your posts at the time and thought it was odd.
I had a few BA instances running (some on Auto and one on manual) but I hadnt seen your problem.
I was waiting to see if someone else mentioned they too had a problem. I just forgot to post back to be honest.

I think the forum is great for a quick question..is the API logging erros, is BF down etc, but for serious issues I would log a call with support (not that ive logged many!)

regards
Peter
