I had a lucky escape on the big Hurdle a Sandown on Mous of Men. I felt the horse would go close to winning that day so my intention was to back it and lay it multiple times so I could build up a big total and let it ride. Anyway I forgot to adjust my stake according to the price and put a huge order on. I was so busy concentrating on the money around me in the market I hadn't noticed how much I had placed.
I suddenly realised that if the price drifted I would be screwed, royally screwed. Suddenly someone hit the market with a massive back bet and the market shot down by 4 ticks. It just kept going after that.
But I also had it where I had a great position and then when I tried to get out with my profit the market kept running away from me
