IMO there is absolutely zero chance this is a bookmaker. IMO it is just the same person who has been around on and off for over a year doing very similar things but varies the technique every so often.

He has now become very easy to read thankfully and is therefore providing some good opportunities now. Though I would still sooner he went back to one of his older methods, preferably the first.

This guy brings to mind this line (said by Gene Hackman's character in Enemy of the State):

'You're either very smart... or incredibly stupid.'

I bet this guy's either an eccentric millionaire who's losing money hand over fist, or he's a shrewd gambler or trader who's milking it in!

Has there been a drop in volume since this guy started causing spikes again?

I'm just wondering if he's causing traders to think 'I'll sit this one out' when he begins doing his stuff.

How many of the horses with massive spikes actually go on to win or run very well?

Stick with it Rhysmr2 I'm all over the place today, nailed some, not been quick enough in others and got caught with a few spikes.

After kicking the cat, drowning the hamster and beating the wife up I'll feel much better.

PS no animals were actual harmed during today

What a day, I think I must have redded up in most of the races I traded today, no major damage as I'm only trading for minimum stakes but I just could not get a grip with it at all. I really need to improve on the more swingy races as thats how they felt to me...but as my brain is currently in a tailspin i'm not even sure thats correct.

On the positive side my discipline held up quite well especially with taking a loss and starting the next race as a clean slate, without any lasting anger or thoughts of trying to make back what I'd just lost.... a big deal for me in the long run I think.

I've found today to be great, loads of money around and some great moves. Messed up one race late on to lose £19 but bar that I have won every other race and the evening markets are proving very good as well. Barring accidents it will have been my best day for a while.

My strike rate has been pretty good today, the problem is again I've taken on a few big losses that have wiped out my profit.

I'm about even for the day which is not what I wanted after losing so much yesterday.

I will be lucky to make any profit at all this week, I really need to turn things around. Last year May and June were my worst months, I wonder why?
