The daily figures are stuff reported from hospitals and now care homes. But the death could have happened some days ago. Hospital admins that report these things probably are 5 day-a week, 9-5 er's.

Dallas's periodic reference to 7-day rolling average is probably the most sensible way to try to see the trends. But even then you have the blips where they suddenly decide to include care homes.
Bottom line is the figures are edging down. Whether that will be maintained as restrictiosn are lifted, who knows?
Still, the Bundesliga will be back soon. Puts pressure on the Premier League and government.
