She said she detests the Tories. Not a sensible thing to say or she could at least say she detests Tory policies.
Even I don't detest all Tory MPs, only the ones I've heard say more than five words.

No they won't.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 1:03 amScotland will leave soon enough, followed by Wales and Northern Ireland. I think all within the next 5 years.
Be interesting with Northern Ireland as I can see that being a powder keg. Could end up a reverse of the troubles with the unionists shooting and blowing things up south of the border.
I understand the "dangerous" comment from Zahawi. In a climate where nutters feel emboldened to attack/kill MP's it was probably ill-advised.
If you go on Twitter, you'll quickly see just how many people in Scotland detests Sturgeon. She is a divisive, truly hated figure in Scotland.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 8:25 amI understand the "dangerous" comment from Zahawi. But the main point was she detests everything the Tories stand for and that will chime with a lot of people right now.
The breakup of the union will happen. Whether thats in 5 years or 30 years it WILL happen. Ironically it has been Brexit that has only served to quicken the process. The other three nations have finally realised that Westminster has no care for them.LeTiss wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 8:07 amNo they won't.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 1:03 amScotland will leave soon enough, followed by Wales and Northern Ireland. None of them can leave without holding a referendum, and even Labour are showing no appetite for giving Scotland another vote.
As for Wales, don't forget they voted for Brexit. I have relatives in Wales, and there is very little support in Wales for complete independence
If Scotland is divided how come SNP have waltzed election after election with really only one core policy - independence.LeTiss wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 8:51 amIf you go on Twitter, you'll quickly see just how many people in Scotland detests Sturgeon. The SNP have divided Scotland terribly.
Even that flipping idiot Jeremy Corbyn, who wanted to give free broadband routers to people so hard up their electricity supply was disconnected had my vote in the last election.
Because that's how FPTP systems work. If 46% of Scotland vote SNP and the other 54% are spread across other parties, there's only going to be one winner
You have a point. BBC's Chris Mason reckons to turn a GE into a referendum the SNP could win every seat in Scotland and still not get 51% of votes.
I repeat my point about FPTP.Archangel wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 9:58 amScotland is not so divided. In the last general election the SNP won 48 seats. All the rest added together got 11.
I know the right wing media like to demonise Nicola Sturgeon , but she is the most effective party leader in the country. Liz Truss should take notes rather than refusing to speak to her.
