Here lies the problem(s) Derek, dont shoot the messenger as i didn't write the constitution or federal laws.

1. Federal law does not allow prison or any other officer inside a civilian prison armed with firearms. Unless a riot or kidnap has/is taking place.
2. Federal law states the current and former president must be protected at all times with agents/officers carrying the required firearms.

When faced with ambiguous or contradictory laws, I presume the supreme court's job is to decide which is more in line with the Constitution as a whole, when looking at the bigger picture. The second of those protects one big dickhead, the first protects every American except the big dickhead. It's no contest.

Trump favourability down from 29 to 25% after indictment, and that's before the GA 'find me 10,000 more votes' indictment and the Mar-a-lago documents case so that number should come down even more...and just look at the money still queuing behind him for nominee
