Here lies the problem(s) Derek, dont shoot the messenger as i didn't write the constitution or federal laws.

1. Federal law does not allow prison or any other officer inside a civilian prison armed with firearms. Unless a riot or kidnap has/is taking place.
2. Federal law states the current and former president must be protected at all times with agents/officers carrying the required firearms.
When faced with ambiguous or contradictory laws, I presume the supreme court's job is to decide which is more in line with the Constitution as a whole, when looking at the bigger picture. The second of those protects one big dickhead, the first protects every American except the big dickhead. It's no contest. :)

The only crime that I have committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who seek to destroy it.

Filled up my vomit bucking already.

Democrats won WI SC election by around 11 points last night, I know GOP voters aren’t the smartest bunch but surely they must know Trump cannot win in 2024…

That's a bit of an understatement isn't it? They're raving lunatics that will stick with him. Even after the fucker's dead they'll deny he's dead and vote for him. :)

I imagine the longer Trump stays in the running for 2024, the more dividend Reps become.
Can only be good for the Dems

Yes, Trump barely moved last couple of weeks but Republicans to be Winning Party has moved from 1.8 to 2.0. Biden continues to firm, no need to say anything when your opponent is doing all the wrong things.

Is it a foregone conclusion, unless something dramatic happens, thats Biden will be the Dem nominee ?

I know it normal for the incumbent to run again but he is a very old man!

He’s already started preparation for a 24 campaign so only serious illness or death would stop him

Demos really need a vice president that can step into the job at short notice.

You obviously mean "very experienced" and "very wise". :-)

Trump favourability down from 29 to 25% after indictment, and that's before the GA 'find me 10,000 more votes' indictment and the Mar-a-lago documents case so that number should come down even more...and just look at the money still queuing behind him for nominee

Next time I leave a pub I'll feel really lucky I don't need 20 cars and 50 people to get me home.

I thought I heard a news report about the alarming speed that Trump is spreading across the USA. Then I realised they were talking about tranq.

They should name the next killer drug or virus after Trump.
