Crab mentality, what does that even mean ?

The UK Chancellor and Treasury needs every penny they can get.

Very sure I could provide a paper for them as to the morale compass and also send to all political parties, news outlets, social media plus internet.

It might be some of you lot that reaches for the toilet paper if HMRC go back 5 years and is cleared by the Supreme Court etc.

Many European countries are now banning BF. Only a matter of time before the UK does too with this current occupier of No 10/11.
Regards your ref to ' some of you reaching for toilet paper':
My bowel movements are quite normal at the moment thanks. 💩

Regards your ref to 'UK Chancellor and Treasury needs every penny they can get' and 'banning' BF:
Labour Gov and HMRC have got bigger fish to fry
1. Stamp Duty reform
2. Council Tax reform
3. Road pricing
4. Increase State Pension age
to mention a few

The only thing I see being banned at the mo are Tube adverts for Islamic platform showing burning US and euro banknotes

https://www.mylondon.news/news/uk-world ... g-30726882

Surprisingly, Sadiq Khan ( Labour PM in waiting ) couldn't see anything wrong with the advert.

IMO I can't see any Gov in this country ever banning BF unless Sadiq Khan becomes PM

So we've both concluded the same about a different group. I said "British racists are just about the worst people to be near." That's an opinion.
You said "anybody who supports the racist Labour Party are by far the worst people to be near".
That's a massive difference. You dismissed the opinions of the people that voted in the "racist Labour Party". That's a phrase that you didn't explain and is utterly ridiculous (unless you're a Jew, but I think Keir is on that issue anyway).
Can you justify describing the Labour Party as racist? And be careful any mud you sling can be applied to the Tories and ANY far right group.
The Labour party is riddled with racist's - always have been
Still not a single reference to support your opinion that the Labour Party is racist.
Still waiting for you to substantiate your claim that the Labour Party is racist. Silence follows bullshit.

The Labour Party commissioned an external review by an independent lawyer (can't recall his name). It found the Labour Party to be racist and sexist amongst other things. They were forced into an independent enquiry when their previous internal one that Keir Starmer refused to publish got leaked to the press which showed evidence of racism and sexism amongst other things within the Labour Party.

The Labour Party then tired to gag the lawyer who conducted the external review and tried to sue people left right and centre who exposed it, something along them lines. Not sure where they are with it currently though.

Most of it been covered in the main news over the past few years however some of the above might be a little sketchy bit it's somewhere near.

Obviously the whole of the Labour Party aren't racist or sexist but don't see where this type of debate has any merit it's bit like poker there's a racist in the Labour Party well I'll raise you a racist Tory.

As has been proven every party has issues.

Obviously they will vote against the amendment to an inquiry tonight so their original bill goes through but Keir Starmer and Jess Phillips have today indicated that if the victims want an enquiry they can have one.

I'm sure if there was anything to be investigated it will have been.
But you still have not presented a shred of justification for your accusation that the Labour Party has always been racist.
I could say Tory's have always been racist. Or the EDL, National Front and BNP were all racist, but I'd have to provide some evidence. But I didn't say that did I?

God Help Us All
Embattled Rachel Reeves could hike taxes AGAIN this spring - here's where she may strike

Capital gains tax
she could lift higher-rate CGT to 40% and 45%.
That would be a massive blow for second homeowners

Pension tax relief.
To encourage people to save, HMRC offers tax relief on pension contributions. This is paid at 20%, 40% or 45%, depending on your tax bracket.
Before the autumn Budget, there was talk of Reeves cutting higher rate pension tax relief, and giving everybody a flat rate of 25% instead.
It could save her billions

Fuel duty.
Reeves resisted the temptation to increase fuel duty in October, but I doubt she'll be able to resist again.

National insurance.
Former chancellor Jeremy Hunt slashed national insurance twice as a pre-election giveaway (not that it helped the Tories).

Cutting NI from 12p in the pound to 8p is costing the Treasury tens of billions of pounds a year. Reeves could easily scrap the second hike, adding 2p to the charge.

Inheritance tax.
Reeves is already planning to charge inheritance tax (IHT) on unused pension pots, from 2027. She also slapped it on farmers and businesses. The outcry hasn't stopped her

BUT THANKFULLY - NO MENTION OF TAXING BF WINNINGS :D

Get a grip.

The "survivors" have stated they would rather see action rather than another enquiry at present.

There have been at least 3 child abuse / rape enquiries during the period Cons were in power.

Number of recommendations implemented: ZERO
Number of times Badenoch met survivors: ZERO
Number of times Jenrick met survivors or raised concerns in House: ZERO

Which is pretty surprising given the hissy fit they are now having.

And remember Badenoch was Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families & Jenrick worked in the Home Office.

Shameless populist incompetents

And I feel sorry for the genuine Conservatives who also thought their behaviour was/is appalling - you could see them cringing in the debate.

Do you read the news or just the news you want to see or just don't understand?

Labour were putting through a child safety bill, the Tory's added an amendment to add a national grooming inquiry to it trying to de-rail the full bill. Why would anyone do this when Starmer & Jess Phillips already said before hand if the victims want a full inquiry they can have one so why de-rail a full bill that included stuff like ID numbers for home school children who can be tracked/safeguarded better which is in the light of the brutal murder of Sara Sharif?

Why would anyone want to de-rail safeguards like that? Sometimes people need to put tribalism aside and engage their brains.

Whilst I detest socialism and Starmer it is all pretty easy to understand. I cannot see what they have done wrong other than push there own policy which they have the numbers to do.

Keir Starmer Spokesperson

"Sir Keir’s spokesperson said that if victims’ groups indicated in the future they wanted a new national probe into grooming gangs, one would be granted"

Jess Phillips Sky News

Jess Phillips has said "nothing is off the table" when dealing with the grooming gangs scandal - including a new national inquiry if victims want one.

I support Reform but they're wrong on this, their inquiry cannot summon people under oath, no one is compelled to give evidence it'll basically be toothless and won't find out anything we don't already know. It'll be just ex-police officers and ex-council employees/councillors courting limelight portraying themselves as heroes for speaking out 15 years later when they were probably explicit in it.

Too much politics being played with all this now and it's out of hand. Just let the victims decide, if they want one strongly enough they'll get one as has already been said.

so basically, 2010-2024 it climbed by 4% of gdp, whereas, it's projected/best guessed to climb 2% by 2030 and then tail off??
Guess so, but I imagine it will be revised each yearly budget. All depends what happens with tax threshold allowances. If they keep freezing those then it could rise significantly.

The worry is these employer changes could mean extra costs being passed onto consumers/customers which could lead to a rise in inflation and increasing interest rates.

But who knows without a crystal ball etc.
This is just the start of the pain.
Very depressing.
Country will run out of money.
Will have to go begging to the IMF
UK 'faces IMF bailout' as expert fears Reeves's economy is 'crumbling under scrutiny'

Labour’s Gloom Twins are to blame: talking down the economy, sending confidence plummeting, and then hiking taxes on investors, businesses, employment and wealth was a daft tactic.

No wonder one of the gloom twins has f***** off to China ?
