its getting very sticky with me,,im afraid of a CRASH
First thing I did this morning was take the irish racing out of guardian. Never mind. Nothing special happened either in regards to anything like that.Dallas wrote:Never traded it myself but hope someone got something from it (15:35 Thurles)
This was a very odd race, I'm a little suspicious TBH as Betfair switched off cross matching. It is default to on, so they could have only switched it off on purpose.
Quired with support and they said it was 'an error' which nobody seemed to spot despite it was a grade 1 race, which they sponsored which had enormous volume through it. Not convinced.

Perish the thought that Betfair may be doing something underhand....Euler wrote:This was a very odd race, I'm a little suspicious TBH as Betfair switched off cross matching. It is default to on, so they could have only switched it off on purpose.

How often did the switch of cross matching? How do you know if they have switched off cross matching?Euler wrote:This was a very odd race, I'm a little suspicious TBH as Betfair switched off cross matching. It is default to on, so they could have only switched it off on purpose.

There's an explanation of cross matching here;
https://api.developer.betfair.com/servi ... rtual+Bets
- same for all markets as far as I know
I don't know why it should have a role in causing a drift, suspect it's just coincidental. I'd be interested to hear other opinions though...
