I would love to see a good old fashioned commence sense approach to spending. The current deficit is unsustainable.

I believe that Farage is the best-placed out of possible future leaders to deliver some much needed serious change. Whether the civil service would allow him to succeed I don't know.

What I'm not understanding is Starmer and Reeves (BTW, has anyone heard from her ... she's gone as distant as Osbourne was after the Brexit referendum result! ) knew they were going to have to break manifesto pledges to balance the books and all Burnham has done is spend, spend, spend so his books will be even more unbalanced.
